Cataphoresis frames
CATAPHORESIS
The cataphoresis is a dipping process in which, as an effect of the electric charge, the element that you need to treat acts as a cathode to attract the paint particles in an uniform way and without clots.
This technology is very used in cars and white goods industry. It consists in the superficial painting of materials such as iron, steel and other alloys. This treatment is aimed to make these materials very resistant to the corrosion. On the materials’ surface is deposited an acrylic or epoxy resin that improves very much the protection against damages caused by chemical and atmospheric agents (such as rust, UV rays,…). Furthermore, the cataphoresis improves the adhesion of the final coats.
